Important Information:

ASA Season Timeline

ASA will run from the 21st of January to the 16th of May 2025.

ASA Timings

ASAs are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.

Students who opt for 'No ASAs' will have to arrange their own transport and will need to be picked up at 2:30 pm from the Secondary Office.

Students’ Transition for ASA
Secondary learners will meet at the respective ASA venues.

Service ASAs
Service ASAs will be offered during both semesters on both Tuesday and Thursday. It is not mandated that a student needs to do a service ASA. However, it is necessary that an MYP student completes the required number of projects expected at his or her grade level. Service is a vital part of the MYP programme and every student is expected to contribute to the immediate and larger world around. MYP students should note that if they are unsure about their service requirements, we recommend they attend a service ASA.

Students’ Dismissal after/during ASA
Parents need to contact the Secondary Secretary as soon as possible if children are leaving school early or missing an ASA. Children will not be released to anyone other than their designated parent or guardian. On ASA days the school bus leaves by 4:10pm. Bus monitors will be stationed at the bus bay by 3:55 pm to supervise children. Students who do not use the school bus service should be collected outside the Primary Office by Parents or Guardians.

Sickness/Injury During ASA
During an ASA, if a child gets injured or sick, they will be escorted to the Nurse's Room. If necessary, the nurse on duty will contact the parents.

Attendance
Attendance is taken by the ASA leaders at the beginning of eachclass at the Cafeteria (Primary) and at the respective ASA venues (Secondary).

Communication
The Events Manager will communicate all ASA information via email or the weekly Tiger Newsletter.
